I love to read month!

In honour of I love to read month room 7 is graphing the amount of books we read!
Check back to see what the final graph will look like!

Monday Meetings in Room 7

Every Monday we meet as a class and share about our weekend. We sometimes will also set goals for the week, think about things we are grateful for and read class compliments!
This is a great way to start of the week on a positive note!

This week at school....

3-2-1
This week at school was awesome because we got to do our social studies. I really wanted to do it because we got to research a country. Seemed so fun and we get to make a PowerPoint. Jack and I are doing Ireland for it!

One thing I learned was how to play Ultimate. Ultimate is played when one team pulls the Frisbee and then you try to get the Frisbee across the double white lines and then tap it and try to go the opposite way.

Another thing I learned was the seven different types of weather in French. Some of them are Il Peult, and IL neige.
Also this week I learned was the four instrument families. They are Brass, Strings, Percussion, and Wood Winds.

Something I enjoyed was doing the math problem marble madness number two. The problem was Jenny had ??? Marbles. Her brother had ??? Marbles. How many marbles did they have all together? We were only allowed to use the numbers 0 to 9 once. An example: 5+2=7.

Another thing I enjoyed was reading the BFG (Big Friendly Giant). I like it because the giant doesn’t speak English grammatically correct.

One goal I have for this week is to keep my desk organized. I need to keep it organized so I can find things quicker.
